Sonido Postal is a personal dispatch, an ongoing exploration of sound.
I’m not a journalist. I’m not a music critic. I don’t claim authority, and I don’t follow scenes like a specialist might. I’m simply a curious, devoted listener, often overwhelmed by how much good music is out there.
This project exists because I love to share what I find. It’s a way to give attention to independent artists who might not always get it, and to trace the emotional and sonic paths their music opens up. I write from instinct, not expertise. There’s no content calendar or editorial voice behind this. Just songs that hit and the impulse to share them with anyone interested.
I also care deeply about the space Bandcamp has carved out. It is exactly what I believe the internet is for. Artists have control over their work. Listeners can support them directly. That kind of structure matters, and I admire what it protects.
Sonido Postal is not affiliated with Bandcamp or with any artists featured. I don’t receive money for including music here, and there are no marketing deals or affiliate links involved. If this project ever grows or shifts into something bigger, that will happen with care, and always with the same intention: to support the music, not exploit it.
Think of this not as a publication, but as a mixtape mailed to a friend. A fan letter sealed with cariño and curiosity.
